  • He was brought up in New England. He also spent a certain part of his younger years in Salem, New Hampshire.
  • Groff was enrolled in his school swim team when he was only 4 years old.
  • He and future ghost hunter Aaron Goodwin met while he was studying at the University of Nevada.
  • Nick developed an interest in ghost hunting after his very own paranormal experience of having seen a black man’s ghostly figure. This, in turn, triggered a questioning response and since then he has been researching and chasing down ghosts.
  • In the past, Nick founded Groff Entertainment.
  • On the show Ghost Adventures (2004), he was co-investigator, executive producer, editor, and cameraman.
  • He got together with paranormal investigators Zak Bagans and Aaron Goodwin and started the docu-series Ghost Adventures. Later, he befriended Aaron Goodwin and did not return to the show.
